About Me

I’ve worked in IT since 2014, driven by a curiosity for how systems are built, how they operate, and why they sometimes fail. I enjoy tinkering with systems and understanding how the pieces fit together.

I’ve always had a strong interest in cyber security, particularly on the blue team side, and cloud computing continues to amaze me with how quickly global infrastructure can be deployed. I’m passionate about my work and always looking to learn something new.

I'm currently working as a Cyber Security consultant, focusing particularly on Microsoft 365, Defender and Purview. Helping organisations secure the products they use everyday and squeeze every ounce out of the products they're paying for is how I spend most of my day to day.

Microsoft's ecosystem, particularly the security stack has really piqued my interest. Mainly as it's absolutely everywhere, but also so vast! There is always a product from Microsoft which can fill a requirement, whilst they aren't always the best, having everything under one roof is a real benefit!

I’m passionate about my work, but always open to learning. The pace of change in technology is constant, and that’s a big part of what keeps me in the industry.
